From the seller: “This is my BSA A65 Thunderbolt.
I bought this around 2 years ago from an estate sale. Unfortunately the family selling it had not found the documents or registration plate within the chaps effects so that is how i purchased it. I joined the BSA club UK and they helped me run through dating and the dvla procedure. The frame number is very feint and the last digit is unreadable so the club can’t trace its history.
I now have a new vin number from dvla which is stamped on the frame. As soon as it goes through its mot it will be allocated an age related number.
I have all relative documents for getting the bike registered. It will cost the price of an mot and a dvla charge of £55.
I can help with this process if needed.
It was restored in 2011 and then stored until I purchased it.
It got it running soundly but since then it has been stored away while I’ve been sorting the dvla side of things.”
