From the seller: “Bike was part restored pre 1985 by the previous owner with the intention of using for work travel but sold to me in 1985. MOT’d for several years but life became too busy to look after hence its condition.
Available with original logbook and pretty much a complete history from the first owner. Now SORN’d the last MOT was in 2008. New bearings and parts were fitted, to the engine, wheels and steering head, the tyres were new in 1985 when the bike was MOT’d and put on the road for several years only to cover 1789 miles. Unfortunately the shed where it was stored expired hence its current condition, however, it is nowhere near too far gone to be restored again and will be an exciting project for the new owner.
Believed to have been manufactured in 1949 and registered in 1950 this ZB31 started life in Huish Champflower, Somerset with a total of five owners up until 1985 when I purchased it and is now registered in my wife’s name where we reside in Mid Devon. Its original registration number LYD36 must also be of value.”
