From the seller: “Now selling my collection of retirement projects that I now realise that I won’t have time to do them all.
I bought this bike in 2000 and used off road for a short while. It was last started about five years ago when I decided to replace the exhaust with something more suitable. The “more suitable “one got put on another bike and I never got round to putting the one it came with back on. Prior to this the bike started and ran fine, usually first kick but occasionally second.
It has previously been registered in another country (Italy I believe) I have the V5 and also the proof of year certificate. It was registered in this country (UK)on 21/02/97
The speedo reads in kilometres and is showing 65,000, I think that’s around 38,000ish. I sourced a Speedo that reads mph but I don’t know for sure whether it can just be swapped over and still read accurately.
It will need a battery, the tank will need either rubbing down and painting or replacing.it does have a tank cover on it at the moment. The side panels are in the box with some other spares. I noticed also that the horn button is missing.”
