From the seller: “UK bike with matching numbers, first registered 06/11/1979 so is eligible for historic status. I acquired this bike on 27/02/2010 it is in very original unmolested condition apart from some sensible upgrades.
The original forks and ATE front callipers have been updated using later model forks fitted with Brembo callipers. The originals scared me to death on my first few journeys. I will include the original forks and callipers in the sale. It has a period alloy fork brace, Koni dial a ride shocks, and a sure foot side stand as well as the original. The exhaust system is stainless steel and in good condition. I have also added the Krauser paniers. I have keys for all the locks on these. It has Goodrich braded brake hoses front and rear. It is still running the front brake master cylinder under the tank it works fine, but I will include a later handlebar mounted master cylinder in the sale.
The bike starts and runs nicely from a spare battery and all electrics work apart from the indicators which try to flash but don’t quite make it, I guess this is the flasher unit. ”
