From the seller: “Genuine and rare barn find 1930 Sunbeam Model 1 350 side valve with original registration number LJ1616 which is transferable if that is your thing, as well as the blue V5, original card continuation log book and a couple of photo’s of when it was found all those years ago.
This appears to be an unfinished project from many many years ago as the frame and other parts have been stove enamelled and still has some of the original protecting crepe paper on it. As can be seen from the photo’s the barn had a large spider population!
I’ve put the larger parts together loosely to show what’s there and it seems to be virtually complete apart from obviously the tyres, magneto and petrol cap but I’m sure there will be other bits missing so please take that into account when bidding.
This is a rare machine which has the original and very rare full chainguard, nickel plated handlebars, both sets of levers, original and unique cable operated front and rear brakes, original mudguards (which need work) and carburettor body.”
