From the seller: “The blue GS400b in the photos is a genuine barn find as it was stored from 1994 in a out building on a farm in Wiltshire.
First registered 04/1978,S,reg. I do have an old V5 for this one and its still on the DVLA database.Is 97% complete and only missing side panels and one tank badge. Engine turns over with great compression and no nasty noises.The seat base will need work but can be saved. Ok it will need a full restoration but all the hard parts to find are there apart from the righthand side panel.
The other one in the photos is an early one, 06/1977, R,reg also a UK bike. The GS400b was only imported between 1977-1978. As you can see in the photos its not complete but is a good source off parts and i do have an upto date V5 in my name for this one.”
