From the seller: “This recently uncovered barn find 1975 Honda CB400F makes an ideal restoration project as all parts are original and the bike appears untouched during its low mileage use up to 1982, only 8,631 miles from new!
Apart from the addition of a cockpit fairing and engine bars. Only one previous owner from new, we are selling this classic Honda on behalf of its current owner. As can be seen from the photos all parts are original factory items including exhaust, silencer (HM377), horn, tank, side panels, fenders, wheels etc. The tank is exceptionally clean inside and the side panels have no cracks or other damage. All electrics work but no battery fitted. This is the more collectable early first type CB400F with pillion footrests on swingarm and has the registration number of MGC 40P. Original handbook (owners manual) and full toolkit included.
This Honda has been under cover since 1982! On the negative side, there are lots of surface rust and the engine is currently seized. A full restoration is required.”
