As the seller states, this was the commuter/learner bike of its day. And what a cool little bike it is!
This particular bike is missing a few bits and pieces, but that’s part of the fun of restoring such an old bike, surely? And, with Ebay and Google at your fingertips, finding parts is easier than ever.
Importantly, the engine does turn over with compression. Reckon it would take you long to get her running?
The bike doesn’t appear to be on the DVLA database right now, although we’d advise checking for yourself, but the original registration number is visible and re-registering it should be fairly straight forward.
There are a few issues that may put some people off this bike, which is why we’ve highlighted it as our Bike Of The Day. None of the problems seem that big, yet the price may well stay low because of them. If you’re looking to buy a bargain motorbike from Ebay, it’s this sort of auction you often need to look out for!
