From the seller: “A genuine barn find, this lovely old original untouched Velocette 250 MOV she has been in my shed for over 20 years.
I was never going to restore this bike ,just use it as oily rag condition to maintain its originality.
She was new in 1939 to her owner in Newcastle upon Tyne who travelled daily to work at a coal mine covering some 97000 miles.
It is with great regret that I have to sell her but due to health reasons my collection has to go.
She has always been dry stored so the tin wear is good apart from the silencer. I intend to let the auction run to the end.”
