From the seller: “Here we have a 1958 250cc James L25 Commodore for Restoration or a good source of parts.
The bike is around 85% complete. The main items missing are the two side panels, wiring harness, rear footrests and a rear chainguard section. Most of the bike has been sprayed in primer some years ago which has helped with preservation. All the tin ware that is present appears to be solid.
I have had the engine running from a slave fuel tank etc. The gears select and the clutch works.
The bike has been bolted together so any prospective buyer can get a better idea of what parts may be missing.”
