From the seller: “Here i have a 1970 triumph 650p matching numbers ex police motorcycle.
This has been stood since 1998 showing just over 12 thousand miles from new with old m.o.ts to back it up plus the police bikes used the chronometric speedos that it has still got.
Also has one owner since it was removed from service.
At some time in its life it looks to have been restored with alloy rims and stainless spokes plus stainless exhausts.
There is no key for the ignition however i did hot wired it to see if i could get it running after its hibernation. After 3 kicks it fired into life with no smoke or nasty noises with good oil return.
That’s as far as i have gone apart from a quick clean to see how the old girl would clean up.
It does need a new seat .battery tray and battery plus a new reg plate as numbers are falling off.”
