From the seller: “I found this amazing survivor in northern Italy. It was parked in a warehouse hence is in such nice rust free condition and so clean (no, I did not wash it).
The body is really straight and it still has its original colour a part of little paint touch ups, it does have some patina and age related marks as you would expect on a 50 year old workhorse, sadly it even has a few scratches and little dents, but nothing major, the bed is excellent (see underside pic) and the cab floor-pan too, only a little corner has been professionally repaired and would need some paint, ATM it only has a grey rust protector, all the rust spots you can see on the vehicle are superficial, there’s no rot at all.
The Ape stood a few years in the warehouse. As soon as I got it, I cleaned the carburettor, putted some fresh fuel and started straight away, engine runs nice and clutch and gearbox work as they should. Check out the video of the first test drive…”
