From the seller: “Up for auction is this great example of a Yamaha TY80 Kids Trials Bike.
As you can see this bike would be a great basis for a restoration as most parts do not look too rusted/damaged or worn out to begin with.
However, with very little work I’m sure this bike could be useable and enjoyed again as it is.
The brakes work, the clutch works and all gears engage as they should.
It’s in the condition shown in the pictures and mostly complete as per the pics, it does not look like it has been abused or left outside.
Unfortunately I have not had time to make a start on this project so it’s up for sale.
It kicks over with good compression and the previous keeper said he had had it running, however he did take the rotor off to change points/condenser and coil. This will need going through and setting back up which is a very simple job on these bikes.”
