From the seller: “Hi, this is my Yamaha FS1E 1975.
I have restored it using as many of the original parts as possible, it has had a complete nut and bolt rebuild. I was a mechanic by trade and have taken this bike completely apart and put a lot of effort in.
Among many other things, I have bought/installed:
- New crankshaft
- New bearings and seals throughout
- Replacement front and rear wheels as lost when moving
- The frame and the silver paint parts powder coated professionally
- Fuel tank, side panels, headlight and mounting brackets repainted professionally in the original colour
- All chrome parts were shipped off to be re-chromed (unfortunately some spots of the chrome have started to bubble up as i have shown in the photos)
- Replaced the seat (still have the original)
- Replaced carburetor (still have the original)
- New Stanchions
- New rear shocks
I was unable to source genuine tank badges so I made my own as can be seen from the photo. They don’t have the Yamaha text, but I think they look tidy.
It has had and I also have invoices for all parts fitted. I have tried to give as much information and to be honest about the bike as possible. If you require any more information please contact me through eBay and I will try to answer as soon as possible.”
