1975 Yamaha FS1E D

From the seller: “Yamaha FS1E D – Rare model only a few made between the FS1E and FS1E DX.

This bike first registered in December 1975, has the looks of a traditional FS1E but benefits from the disc brake, handlebar ignition, and cradle frame as seen on a DX. In my opinion having the original style tank with enamel badges is preferable to the Kenny Roberts style of the later models, obviously this is only a personal preference. I have seen these in restored condition advertised for over £8,000.

This bike is sold as a non runner and will require a full and detailed complete restoration, it was since 1978 kept in my Parents garage when I stopped using it and it has never been run since then.”
