I bought this a couple of months ago to restore it but ended up buying a honda xr 400 already done
I’ve bought new tires exhaust silencer
Put new chain on and cleaned the carb out and fuel tank and kicked it and it fired up
The engine sounds great with no top end rattles and it rides good
So I changed the brake fluid an is all good
I’ve been on the dvla Web site and the bike still has the registration number and it is on sorn by the Last owner
So v5 will be obtainable
Photos show the last time it was on the road
These bikes are going for strong money when restored so it’s a bargain for somebody
Kicking this over is not for the faint hearted as the compression really good ”
