Velocette 500

The engine crank cases were obtained from a local Velocette main agent they were part of a load of spares I bought, I was told they were new, but I cannot guarantee that, as you can see that they have not been stamped with engine number. The crank was built with a new big end from the same place and the crank shaft was rebuilt at a local engineering company. New main bearings were fitted. I can’t remember if I fitted a Venom or a MSS cam. From memory I think the motor has a Venom piston and head.
